TOM PAHLOW
Freelance Writer
Tom is a confessed nerd, lover of the outdoors and consumer of great coffee and beer.
He is a fiend for learning new skills and has an active list of hobbies that include leatherworking, beer brewing, papermaking, woodwork, and bouldering. Let him know if there are any others he should add to the list.
Oh, and did we forget to mention he has a passion for reading and writing (weird profession to get into if he didn’t, right!). From a young age he has wanted to be an author and after a stint in sleep science has returned to this dream. Tom believes in the power of language and, like the weirdo he is, loves the act of editing, putting the right words in the right order to transport you somewhere else.
Relatively new to Newy, it didn’t take long for him to fall in love with his new home. The beaches, the coffee, local businesses and the creative scene. He likes being the cheerleader for anyone pursuing their dreams and hopes his writing can help them in this endeavour.
DOMINIQUE DE GAIL
Freelance Writer
Dominique, too, is a confessed nerd, and also a bit of a grandma.

In between working and enjoying her favourite Newcastle hotspots, she is found over-analysing movies and TV shows and collecting wool to placate her crochet addiction.

She has been passionate about writing since her childhood, where she spent summer days typing hilariously bad stories on an ancient Dell laptop, instead of joining her friends outdoors. Luckily, times have changed, and Dominique now enjoys soaking up the Newcastle sun as much as she loves to write.

Dominique is passionate about the growth of Newcastle’s Arts and Business sector and is excited to use her writing skills to assist creative people achieve their goals.
